Congratulations to Katharine Finlayson (ACT) who has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of Kodály Australia.  

Honorary Life Membership is Kodály Australia’s highest accolade and is given in recognition of an individual’s ongoing and highly significant contribution to the association and Australian Kodály-inspired music education. 

Katharine has worked tirelessly over many years to help advance Kodály-inspired music education in Australia. She has served as branch president of Kodály ACT with distinction and has made an active and valued contribution to the National Council of Kodály Australia. On a personal note, it was lovely to witness the strong affection and admiration for Katharine from members, colleagues and students during the 2022 Kodály Australia Conference in Canberra.  

Katherine, you are an example for us all. Congratulations once again!
